Write for spoken language
Use short sentences: name, location, role, relevant experience and what makes you a fit. Read it aloud and remove formal phrases you would never say in conversation.
Protect sound and framing
Record in a quiet room, place the phone at eye level and face the light. Use a medium shot unless the casting asks for something else. Look into the lens and pause before and after speaking.
Make three complete takes
Do not chase perfection sentence by sentence. Record three full takes, then choose the clearest and most natural one. Add captions only after the main performance works without them.
