Choose one light source
Start beside a window with indirect daylight. Switch off lights that give the skin a different colour. Move until both sides of the face are readable, then check the frame on the phone. A plain wall or sheet makes a calmer background than a busy room.
Prepare a small shot list
Write down a headshot, a wider portrait, a full-body image and one expressive variation. Keep the phone stable and leave enough space for later cropping. Use Shoot Planner to organise the preparation; Photo Studio helps with framing, capture and social formats.
Save the setup for next time
Record the light direction, background, distance, camera and styling in Look Passport. Export the setup PDF and compare it with your next session. Select photographs that still represent your real appearance. A consistent series is more useful than a different filter on every frame.
