Start with the requested sequence
Check style, music, duration and whether an uninterrupted take is required. Practise the actual sequence before recording. Choose a space appropriate to the movement and avoid changing choreography merely to suit a cramped camera angle. If the space is unsuitable, choose another setup.
Test the whole frame
Record the widest and lowest positions in the sequence and check head, hands and feet. Keep the camera stable and the floor area clear. Review whether clothing separates from the background. Do not add cuts that prevent the recipient from assessing a continuous passage when one is requested.
Add useful professional context
Prepare a VIPCasting portfolio with current photos and concise dance experience. Describe styles and relevant work accurately. Submit the recording in the requested format and watch the saved file from beginning to end, including any opening introduction or closing position.
