Give each frame an intention
Try a small set of ideas such as attentive, amused or thoughtful. Take a breath between frames and let the expression change naturally. Use a movement or imagined situation rather than forcing facial muscles into a shape. Stop if the session becomes uncomfortable.
Review small differences
Compare eyes, jaw tension, shoulder position and whether the expression still looks like you. Pick one example of each useful variation. Do not turn the exercise into ranking your face or searching for a supposed universal casting type. Relevance depends on the specific project.
Keep the useful variations
Label selected shot types in your VIPCasting portfolio and avoid near-duplicates. Save a short note about the intention behind a frame so you can repeat it. Use the exercise as preparation; submit only expressions and views appropriate to the actual brief.
