Follow the requested views
Read the agency’s instructions for framing, clothes and views. Common requests may include a front portrait, profile and full-body photograph, but requirements vary. Write your actual shot list before starting. Do not substitute a creative pose for a specifically requested view.
Keep the setup consistent
Use a calm background and light that makes your face visible. Keep the phone stable and avoid a very close wide-angle position that distorts proportions. Use styling that represents how you currently look. Retouching should not conceal information the recipient is asking to see.
Select clear casting photographs
