Give the frame enough space
Include your head and feet, with a little room around them. Place the phone far enough away to avoid an exaggerated close perspective. Check vertical lines and the edges of the frame. Choose a stable camera height, then make a test image before the main session.
Start with a natural stance
Use the pose requested in the brief. When no pose is specified, start with relaxed shoulders and a balanced stance instead of a dramatic twist. Keep clothing and background visually separate. Review whether hands, hair or fabric hide details you intended to show.
Inspect before you export
Zoom into the image and check focus on the face as well as the overall outline. In VIPCasting, review the crop for the intended output; a social crop can accidentally remove the feet. Keep a full-frame casting copy alongside any creative variations.
