Record a few useful fields
Keep the project name, contact channel, relevant dates, requested materials and submission status. Add the filename or link version you sent. Avoid collecting private information about other applicants or contacts that serves no practical purpose. A simple table is enough to begin.
Separate actions from outcomes
Mark preparation, submission, follow-up and result as different steps. Write factual feedback separately from your own interpretation. Add one lesson you can apply next time. Do not use the log to rank your worth or speculate about other people’s casting decisions.
Connect notes with your exports
Use clear names for VIPCasting PDF and video exports so your log points to the correct version. Keep archived copies separate from your current portfolio. Review the log periodically to find recurring practical problems, then update your preparation checklist rather than repeating the same mistake.
